Description

Lunar Caravans has announced that it has made 124 redundancies, a few days after entering administration. The manufacturer of lightweight touring caravans which had been in operation for more than 50 years, employed 196 staff and administrators had laid off staff while they tried to sell the business. As a buyer could not be found, the administrators have confirmed the redundancies. The business remains for sale and the administrators have stated that selling the company continues to be the top priority; the future for the remaining staff is unclear.
