Description
Renewable energy firm Energia plans to create 200 new jobs over the next five years. The 200 new roles will be in customer energy solutions and renewable energy. The jobs expansion comes with a €3 billion investment into renewable energy generation. The project encompasses onshore and offshore wind farms, solar power, hydrogen fuel generation, bio-energy facilities and the smart grid. An estimate of between 3,000 and 5,000 construction jobs will be created within the expansion phase. Energia currently employs 800 people in Ireland, and has been in operation for two decades.
