Description

Discount supermarket chain Lidl has announced plans to open 12 new stores across Scotland which will create 500 new jobs. The company has confirmed the locations of five sites - Dumbarton, Dundee, East Kilbride, Cowdenbeath and Larkhall - where work is already underway. Once all the new stores it will take the count to 110 stores across Scotland. It is expected that it will take around three years for all of these new sites to become operational. Lidl announced a major expansion plan in London earlier in 2019
