German car components producer ZF Friedrichshafen opened its next plant in the Punch Campus Industrial Park of Detva. In the first stage, the new plant is expected to create about 200 new jobs, to cover a total floor space of 11,000 mq, and to produce different components of the car chassis. According to ZF manager, the plant in Detva is in line with the company's business strategy. In Slovakia, ZF operates since 1993 and has plants also in Trnava, Levice, Sahy and Komarno with a total number of 3,800 employees.
