Description
The French start-up Meero announced the recruitment of 600 employees by the end of the year, after raising $230 million (€205 million) in France. The fast-growing company started with a platform for connecting photographers and companies and by selling commercial photo reports all over the world. It wants to increase its services and invest massively in building a community that currently has more than 58,000 photographers.
By the end of the year, Meero is expected to employ 1,200 people in its five offices around the world (Paris, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangalore). The start-up is the only one to use artificial intelligence to ensure the post-production of photos, and intends to keep this lead by strengthening its technical team, which will increase from 90 employees to 300 by next year.
