Description
The American group Archer Daniels Midland has announced 127 job cuts in its French subsidiary Neovia, which is specialised in animal nutrition. At the beginning of the year, the group acquired Neovia for €1.54 billion. These job cuts mainly concern Neovia's former headquarters in Saint-Nolff (Morbihan) and the research laboratory located in Château-Thierry (Aisne). These workforce reductions will involve the dismissal of 66 employees, the non-replacement of natural departures and retirements and the non-renewal of fixed-term contracts. The job cuts concern human resources and financial, legal, communication and marketing departments.
At the end of 2018, Neovia employed 8,360 people worldwide, including 1,070 in France.
