European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
McQueens Dairies has announced plans to create 100 new jobs. The business has acquired the former site owned by Muller which announced its closure in 2016. The company explained that the reason for taking over the site was that its dairy and distribution centre in Glasgow is now at capacity. The business, which currently employs 400 people, will expand as the demand for doorstep deliveries - both for domestic and commercial customers - continues to grow. The new site will open in spring 2020 and will be used to process milk and to produce apple and orange juices.
