Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Polish supplier of gas GASPOL has announced that it will create 150 job vacancies at its new gas terminal in Sędzidzów, Poland. The terminal is expected to be launched in June 2019, and the company has invested PLN 50 million (€11.75 million) in the project. The terminal, consisting of tanks with a total capacity of over 3.4 million litres and technical infrastructure, is located on a 10 hectare area. GASPOL was founded in 1991; the company specialises in supplying energy. GASPOL is a subsidiary of SHV Energy.
