The University of Wales Trinity St David (UWTSD) has announced that it will be making 110 redundancies in a bid to reduce costs. The university is based across three sites at Lampeter, Swansea and Carmarthen and employs 1,500 staff. According to reports, the university will make 94 staff voluntarily redundant with a further 16 staff being subject to compulsory redundancy. The job cuts are part of a plan to save GBP 6.5 million.
