Social Media platform Facebook has announced plans to create 500 new jobs when it opens a new engineering centre in Soho, London. Around 100 of the jobs will be in artificial intelligence and positions will focus on removing malicious and harmful content and fake accounts. When the jobs are added, Facebook will have around 3,000 employees in London. London mayor welcomed the news of the tech giant's investment saying that it gives the signal that London's tech sector is in good health.
