Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The German producer of automotive components IFA Powertrain Poland has announced that it will create 120 new jobs at its factory in Ujazd (the Katowice Special Economic Zone, Poland) by the end of 2019. The company is looking for production and warehouse staff, including machine operators, machine operator assistants and storekeepers. The company will hire both experienced employees and candidates without experience in the industrial production.
IFA Powertrain is a part of automotive company IFA Rotorion; the company produces drive shafts and car accessories. IFA Powertrain has factories in Germany, USA and China. In Poland, the company has been operating since 2017. Currently, the company employs 460 people.
