Description
The German logistic and transport company DHL has opened a new dispatch facility ('Campus Vienna Airport') in Fischamend near the airport Vienna Schwechat (Lower Austria) creating 250 new job vacancies. The facility consists of two cargo terminals and should serve Austria, but also Eastern Europe. Goods are predominantly prepared for further transportation by airplane and ship, and to a lesser extent for consumers. Local politicians expect not only a boost for the municipalities revenue, but also a positive stimulus for the local economy and hope to attract further companies to settle in the region.
