The Swedish telecommunication company Tele2 announced that 230 out of 2300 employees will be dismissed. The affected units are 170 employees working with mobile and broadband all over the country, but mainly at the headquarter in Stockholm. It also affects approximately 60 consultants attached to the company. The dismissals come as a result of the merge between Tele2 and the Swedish telecommunication company Comhem. The new organisation will be put into force on 14 June, and the total workforce of the merged company will be roughly 5000 employees.
