Finnish publisher of journals and periodicals Otavamedia has concluded employer-employee negotiations and announced a job reduction of 47 positions. According to Otavamedia, the company aims to improve customer experience by outsourcing customer service. As a result, 47 employees will be made redundant. As of May 2019, the time frame of the restructuring is not yet known.
Otavamedia, part of Otava Group, publishes 25 magazines in Finland. The company had some 400 employees in 2018. Otavamedia has had several employer-employee negotiations during recent years.
