European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Girteka Logistics, one of the biggest transport and logistics companies in Lithuania, is to create around 540 new jobs in Vilnius in 2019. The company moved to its new office on 25 March 2019 and plans to increase its team by 540 employees in 2019. Currently Girteka Logistics in its new office employs 822 employees. The company is rapidly expanding in Lithuania: in 2018, Girteka Logistics created 500 new jobs and became the fastest-growing employer in Lithuania.
Girteka Logistics is one of Europe’s largest road transport companies and it delivers more than 460,000 full truck loads annually. The company serves various customers ranging from local producers to international companies through regional distribution centres.
