Argus Spectrum International, a Russia-based company specialised in fire detection and security systems, has announced that it will establish a new production plant in Savonlinna. The company invests €2 to 3 million in the new factory and plans to recruit about 100 new employees at the site. The production is expected to begin in June 2019. The plant will produce wireless fire protection products and early warning and positioning systems for the international market. Local authorities have welcomed the investment.
