US based software firm Signifyd has announced plans to create 150 new jobs in Belfast. The jobs are being supported by Invest NI, with the developing agency providing nearly one million GBP (€1.18 million) in support. The jobs will add nearly five million in salaries to the economy and will help the company develop its products for online fraud detection. The company will open a new base in the cathedral quarter of the city, though it has not been specified exactly when. The jobs will be added over a period of between three to five years, with 12 people already having been offered positions.
