The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Veon, a telecom company, is restructuring; between 200 and 250 employees, including In addition, 69 employees from the Wholesale Services department, are losing their jobs at the Amsterdam office. The company also stopped investing in a plan to build a digital platform similar to WeChat, costing around a 100 employees in London and Amsterdam their jobs. The redundancies take place in the context of a large-scale reorganization of the company, whereby many activities that took place at the head office in recent years are transferred to the countries' head offices.
