European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Securitas, a private security service company, has announced plans to create 1,800 new positions in the Netherlands. The business aims to increase the number of its employees to about 8,800, with 1,500 new security guards and 300 new employees in other functions.
The expansion was deemed necessary in order to meet the greatly increased demand in security services, as security is playing a more important role for Dutch companies. Securitas also plans to initiate training programmes for security officers in collaboration with schools.
