According to the company, the job cuts are set out in order to make the organisation more efficient and flexible to meet the demands coming from digitalisation and automation. Negotiations with the union are ongoing and it is yet to be decided if the cuts will be implemented by outsourcing, direct dismissals, relocation or a retirement scheme.
