Description
Ford Romania, a subsidiary of the multinational car manufacturer Ford Motor, has announced plans to create 1,500 positions by the end of 2019. The new employees will be working at the production facility in Craiova, where the company’s new SUV model called Puma will be produced. The recruiting is part of a €200 million investment in the Craiova facility. As of February 2019, the company employs 4,400 people in Romania.
Previous restructurings took place in 2017 (1,700 jobs created) and 2015 (490 jobs lost).
