Description
Canadian-owned global customer outsourcing company Telus International has announced plans to create 500 new jobs in Romania by the end of June 2019. TELUS International Europe is a multilingual contact centre, which provides BPO (business process outsourcing) and ITO (information technology outsourcing), and has been operational in Romania since 2004.
As of February 2019, Telus International has 1,500 employees in Romania at two centres in Bucharest and Craiova (Dolj County). Globally, the company has a workforce of 32,000 across 10 countries. Previous restructurings took place in 2018 (300 jobs created) and in 2016 (300 jobs created).
