Description

The Government of the Czech Republic has announced plans to employ about 130 new state officials; 110 posts will be created at the Ministry of Interior, seven at the Foreign Ministry and 15 posts will be for new labour inspectors. The increase in the number of officials is due to the government’s decision to raise the annual limit of Ukrainian workers coming to the Czech Republic to work from 20,000 to 40,000. The demand for workers was significantly higher in the country than the supply, as the Czech Republic has the lowest unemployment rate in the European Union.

Previous restructuring took place in 2018, when 860 jobs were lost.
