Eissmann Automotive Hungaria, a subsidiary of German car interior manufacturer Eissmann Group Automotive is expanding the manufacturing area of its production site in NyÃregyháza. The expansion will result in the creation of 140 new jobs – mostly for blue-collar workers but also for a number of engineers.
The €6.7 million worth investment includes the expansion of the manufacturing area and the purchase of new machinery. The Hungarian government supports the investment with a subsidy amounting to more than one-quarter of the total investment cost.
The construction of the expanded plant is expected to be completed by the end of May 2019, while the hiring will start in the coming months.
The NyÃregyháza site is a center of injection moulding activities – and also of gear selector lever and driver airbag production – within the Eissmann group.
