Description

US software company Salesforce has announced plans to increase its employment in Ireland by 1,500, over the next five years. The announcement of 1,500 new jobs is one of the largest company job expansions linked to IDA Ireland, the State development body which supported the investment. The new positions will be in sales, customer support, engineering and business services.

Salesforce also plans to build a new centre in Dublin and has gained planning permission for it. As of January 2019, the company employs 1,000 people in Ireland.
