Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Wageningen University & Research will receive more subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in 2019. As a result, the budget for new employees will be increased. In total, about 600 people are going to be hired; 350 will replace employees who are going to leave by retiring or for other reasons and the remaining 250 employees will fill in new positions. The University is looking for young employees, such as teachers to accommodate the student growth.
