Description

Goodyear Dunlop Sava Tires, the manufacturer of car tires, is planning to expand its capacity by 25% and generate 160 new jobs. The owner, the U.S. based company Goodyear, will invest $107 million in the expansion which will boost the capacity by 1.8 million units a year. The expansion will help Goodyear to keep pace with growing demand for premium larger rim-diameter tires throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The construction of new premises will start in January 2019, while additional phases are planned for 2020 and 2021 to reach full capacity. Current annual capacity is about 8 million units with 1,600 employees.
