Description
General household retailer Clas Ohlson has confirmed that it will close five UK stores, leaving only its site in Reading operational. The move is part of a plan to close stores across the UK and in Germany as the business intends to focus more on its online sales. A spokesperson for the company commented that moving the greater part of the business online was a response to changes in customer behaviour. The closures will result in the loss of approximately 150 jobs. It is not known when the closures will take effect.
