Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Italian producer of filtration solutions UFI Filters has announced that it will create 250 jobs at its new production facility in Opole. The unit, located in the WaĆbrzych Special Economic Zone, will produce aluminium heat exchangers for cars. The production is expected to be launched in June 2019.
UFI Filters was founded in 1971; it develops filtration technology for a wide range of sectors, including automotive, aerospace and marine. The company operates in 16 countries and employs about 4,000 people worldwide.
