Savencia Fromage & Dairy Czech Republic, a subsidiary of a French food company specialising in the production of cheeses, has announced the relocation of 300 workers to another plant. The relocation of cheese production from the SedlÄany plant to its PÅ™ibyslav (Hesov) site is justified by the need to increase efficiency. The production will be gradually reduced from February 2018; the closure of the plant is scheduled for May 2019.
Redudant workers will be given a chance to work at the Přibyslav site or at another company's factory. Redundant workers will get above-standard severance pay.
