European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Savencia Fromage & Dairy Czech Republic, a subsidiary of a French food company specialising in the production of cheeses, has announced the relocation of 300 workers to another plant. The relocation of cheese production from the Sedlčany plant to its Přibyslav (Hesov) site is justified by the need to increase efficiency. The production will be gradually reduced from February 2018; the closure of the plant is scheduled for May 2019.
Redudant workers will be given a chance to work at the Přibyslav site or at another company's factory. Redundant workers will get above-standard severance pay.
