Description
Indian owned outsourcing company Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) has announced plans to invest in and expand its Selkirk site, which will result in the creation of 150 jobs. The investment will give greater security for the jobs of the company's 265 workers at the call centre in the Scottish Borders, and has been welcomed by the Deputy First Minister of Scotland. A spokesperson for HGS emphasised that the local skill base was a key reason behind the new investment. It is expected that the new jobs will be filled by the end of 2019.
