Description
The Bils-Deroo logistics group should therefore create at least 500 jobs by the end of 2021.On 7 December, the group announced the opening of a brand new 37,000 m2 logistics warehouse at a business park in Lambres-lez-Douai (Nord). 'At full speed, about a hundred people will be working in the warehouse,' according to the group's CEO. With thirty-six platforms and a view of the Renault factory, the goods storage warehouse will serve the automotive and distribution sectors.
The CEO also announced that the 75,000 m2 platform located in Sine-le-Noble (Nord), dedicated to the customer Gifi (a brand specialising in home furnishings) would be extended by 21,000 m2. Again, in a year and a half, once the construction is completed, seventy to eighty employees will join the company. According to a company source, in 2021 the Bils-Deroo group will employ between 1,700-1,800 people compared to 1,200 today.
