European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Canpack, a company that produces aluminium cans for breweries and soda manufacturers, has announced plans to expand its production capacity at its factory in Helmond by 50 per cent. As a result, 120 new positions will be created. The capacity expansion is due to a newly build hall with a third production line. The factory in Helmond opened in 2017 and produces millions of cans every day. Canpack is also active in other countries besides the Netherlands; it operates factories in 18 countries with a total of 6,500 staff.
