Description
Company shop, a retailer headquartered in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, has announced plans to create 200 new jobs. The business sells surplus food which would otherwise have gone to waste and is therefore able to pass on significant discounts to shoppers. The expansion is being supported by a 4.2 million GBP (€4.6 million) funding package from Lloyd's Bank. The firm has recently opened a new store in Washington, Tyne and Wear and has plans to open further outlets in Hull and both the East and West Midlands.
