Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Professional services firm Grant Thornton has announced plans to hire 300 people at its site in Dublin until 2020. The recruitment is part of a bigger plan aiming to create 400 positions across the company’s locations in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Half of the 400 new roles will be for new graduates, with the other half available for experience professionals in financial services advisory, tax and audit, as well as specialist consulting positions in areas such as cyber, forensics, technology and aviation.
