Description
RM resources has announced plans to close its distribution centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire as part of plans to merge its UK distribution centres. Under the plans, 70 workers out of the 156 at Trowbridge face losing their jobs by May 2019. The site will be closed by 2021 resulting in the loss of the remaining 86 jobs and the loss of a further 34 jobs at the site in Shrewsbury. As part of the restructure 60 jobs will be created at the site near Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, which will continue as the company's only UK site. There may be possibilities for affected workers to apply for the new jobs, with the company making relocation packages available.
