International courier and express mail service provider DHL Express has announced the creation of 100 jobs at its newly opened international courier terminal at the Gdańsk Airport. The 1,800 square metre facility will serve as an international freight terminal and intermediary point to other regions in Poland. The company invested about PLN 15 million (€3.49 million) in the project, and the unit will be able to handle up to 800,000 packages per year. DHL employs about 360,000 people worldwide and operates in over 220 countries and regions.
