Description
Hovis has announced plans to cut 100 jobs across two of its UK sites following its announcement of losses. The British baking company has stated that 29 jobs will be cut from its headquarters in High Wycombe and a further 71 jobs will go with the closure of a mill in Southampton. The timeframe for the loss of the jobs at the headquarters has not been reported, but the jobs at the Southampton mill will be ending by the end of 2018. According to a spokesperson for the company, the job losses will help ensure the future viability of the business.
