Description
Budget retailer Poundland has announced plans to create 400 new jobs by opening 20 new stores. The retailer is taking over former Poundworld sites, following that company's bankruptcy earlier in 2018. Poundland has stated that it will offer a guaranteed interview to any former Poundworld employee.
The sites which Poundland has taken over are some of the larger premises as it intends to stock its popular Pep&Co fashion range. It is being reported that the new stores will be opening in October 2018.
