European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Communications company Map Group has announced plans to create 150 new jobs at its site in Stockton-on-Tees. The company provides fibre-optic broadband and works with clients such as BT and the NHS. As of October 2018, the company employs 400 staff. A spokesperson for the company commented that they were not expecting applicants to have prior experience and that training will be given. The mayor of Tees Valley endorsed the announcement by posting details of the recruitment drive on Facebook. Although no details have emerged as to when the jobs will be filled, reports suggest that open days and recruitment will be imminent.
