Description

French start-up Cybelangel, which offers large groups the tools to automatically track their data leaks over the Internet, has announced a new round of funding of €10 million after a first round of funding of €3 million in 2017. The €10 additional million will be used to intensify the conquest of the American market, to develop R&D located at the head office in Paris, and to continue expanding in Europe, particularly in Germany and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the aim is to set up a sales force of 45 people by the end of 2019.

In France, CybelAngel is primarily looking for engineers, data scientists and cyber analysts. In total, the company expects to increase from 70 to around 180 employees by the end of 2019, most of which are located in Paris. To identify data leaks and report them to their customers, CybelAngel has developed a technology capable of scanning any connected object on the planet and to automatically and permanently scan the deep web and the dark web.
