Description
Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW), a coal mining company, has announced that it will create up to 180 new jobs at the coal mine Ruch Borynia in Jastrzębie-Zdrój by the end of 2018. The restructuring programme is associated with the company's plan to launch a new mining drift as well as implement a modernization programme of the mine. The source reports that Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa currently employs about 3,000 people.
The company restructured in spring- summer 2016: it announced 1,700 dismissals in August, 1,194 in July and 1,600 in April.
