Description
Supermarket group Tesco has announced plans to create a new discount store format. The new chain will be known as Jack's and will create 250 new jobs. The first store is due to open in Cambridgeshire imminently, and there are plans to create around 10 to 15 of these stores, over the next year, each employing around 25 people. Jack's stores will offer a low cost alternative to other discounters and will stock a more limited range of products than Tesco stores.
