Irish budget airline Ryanair has announced the opening of two bases in France by the summer of 2019, in Bordeaux and Marseille, with an investment of 400 million dollars (€ 348 million) and the creation of 120 positions (60 in each airport). Ryanair is coming back to France, after its decision to close its first base located in Marseille in 2010 in reaction to a court decision, with 2 new based aircrafts for each airport and 27 new routes (connecting 12 countries). The new routes will deliver a total of 3.5 millions customers per annum across both airports.
