European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sports technology company, STATSports has announced plans to create 237 new jobs at its base in Newry, Northern Ireland. The business provides wearable tracking devices for athletes as well as the software to analyse the data collected. The expansion comes after the company signed a new deal to supply the U.S. Soccer Federation. The jobs are supported by funding from Invest NI of nearly 4 million GBP (about €4.5 million). It is understood that the roles will be filled over a three year period, though recruitment has already begun and 92 positions are already filled.
