Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German producer of industrial automation solutions Turck has announced that it will create 220 jobs at its new production facility in Lublin. The factory will be located in the Lublin Special Economic Zone, Poland, and is expected to be operational in June 2019.
Turck is one of the leading manufacturers in industrial automation. The company employs about 4,800 employees in over 30 subsidiaries as well as sales partners in a further 60 countries. Turck produces a range of sensors fieldbus, interface and connectivity products as well as HMI and RFID systems; it offers solutions for factory and process automation.
