Microsoft has announced the creation of 150 new jobs at its campus in Dublin, of which 100 will be in engineering and 50 in digital sales and data center operations. A further 50 positions are to be available for the company’s graduate and intern program. With this move, the total number of the IT company's employees in Ireland will increase to 2,200. The One Microsoft Place campus, which will house the new recruits, cost €134 million and opened in early 2018. In 2017, Microsoft announced the recruitment of 200 people (Microsoft Ireland 2017).
