Description
Polish producer of measuring devices Metron Fabryka Zintegrowanych Systemów Opomiarowania i Rozliczeń (Metron) has announced its bankruptcy. As a consequence, the production facility in Toruń will be shut down as the unit is no longer profitable, and 135 employees will be dismissed by the end of November 2018. The local employment agency stated that it will implement some measures for the redundant workers.
Metron was founded in 1920. The company specialised in the production of measuring devices, including water meters, gas meters and watt-hour meters.
