Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Czech software group Unicorn has opened its branch office in Liberec where it plans to create 175 new jobs. It is already the fourth regional development centre, which currently employs 25 people. At the same time it is the 21st development centre of the company, which is a leading European provider of information systems and solutions in the field of information and communication technologies.
Unicorn operates development centres in 15 cities in four European countries, outside the Czech Republic in Slovakia, the Netherlands and Ukraine. The company focuses mainly on clients in banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy, industry and commerce.
In June 2018, the company announced the creation of 185 new jobs in its branch office in Ostrava.
