According to the company, new restaurants are to open in Pirkkala, Hämeenlinna, Jämsä, Jyväskylä, Raisio and Järvenpää. Each restaurant will employ around 25-30 people.

The Finnish restaurant and hotel company Restel has a master franchising agreement with Burger King and manages the Burger King restaurants in Finland.

According to the company, Burger King will have almost 60 restaurants by the end of 2018 in Finland, and the company is planning to expand the business by ten new restaurants in 2019. In 2017, Burger King reportedly had some 1,000 employees in Finland.
